Frequently Asked Questions

This page answers the main questions about the Laser Master platform, services, ordering process, production, and delivery.

General Questions

What is Laser Master?

Laser Master is a platform for calculating prices and ordering laser-cut and bent parts. It is described as the first digital service in Bulgaria that can offer a fully automated process for configuring and quoting each laser-cut or bent part.

What manufacturing processes does Laser Master offer?

You can order laser-cut and bent parts and components.

Who manufactures my parts?

Laser Master manufactures the parts directly. The company states that it operates a modern machine park with experienced engineers and technicians, including fiber laser cutting for sheet metal, CO2 laser cutting and engraving for non-metals, and a 6+1 axis CNC hydraulic press brake.

How much does it cost to use Laser Master?

Creating a customer account and calculating prices are free. You pay only the displayed price for your order.

What information is required for registration?

To create a customer account, enter a valid email address and password, then confirm the registration from your email inbox. The source page also advises checking the spam folder if the confirmation email does not appear.

Can I order as a private customer?

Yes. Although the service is tailored to business customers, private individuals can also place orders.

Where are my parts made?

Production is carried out at the company's facility in Gabrovo. For address and contact details, see the Contact page.

How is payment made?

Payment for ordered parts and components is made in advance. The listed options are proforma invoice payment, PayPal, and Visa/MasterCard.

Another supplier gave me a lower quote. How is that possible?

The source FAQ explains that many metalworking companies operate in Bulgaria, so lower offers can exist. Laser Master positions its automated workflow as a way to keep prices for high-quality metal parts consistently competitive while also saving time spent searching for suppliers.

How securely is my personal data stored?

The source states that all data is transmitted in encrypted form. Attached files are stored on protected servers, and order information is shared only with relevant technical personnel.

Quoting and Ordering

How do I get a quote?

After a one-time free registration, you can use the quoting calculator for laser-cut parts. You need CAD files in DXF format. Upload the files, configure production parameters such as quantity and material, and then click the quote calculation button to generate your offer.

How is the price calculated?

The platform calculates the price based on your files and parameters such as cutting time, material, material thickness, part dimensions, and other production values.

What format should my CAD files be in?

For laser cutting, files can be uploaded only in vector DXF format. The source FAQ notes that if your files are in another vector format such as DWG or SVG, you can first convert them to vector DXF format.

When and why should I upload a technical drawing in addition to the CAD file?

PDF technical drawings are required for parts that need press brake bending. The attached vector CAD file is used as the cutting file, while additional information such as angles and tolerances should be included in the drawing because it cannot be taken into account automatically. The source also notes that, in case of discrepancies between CAD and PDF files, production is based on the CAD file when possible.

Can I download a quote in PDF format?

Yes. This option is offered so quotes can be shared internally. After configuring an order in the platform, you can download the quote as a PDF.

Is there a minimum quantity in Laser Master?

No. The minimum quantity that can be ordered is one part.

Do prices decrease with longer delivery times?

Yes. When multiple delivery windows are offered for an order, later delivery dates can result in lower prices under the corresponding conditions.

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes. The source FAQ states a minimum order value of 100 BGN including VAT.

Can I change or cancel my order shortly after placing it?

Possibly, if the order has not yet been fulfilled. The FAQ instructs customers to contact the company by phone immediately so availability for changes can be checked without delay.

Can I reorder previous orders?

Yes. Previous orders are saved in the customer account and can be triggered again.

Can I receive a material certificate?

Yes. The platform offers the option to receive a material quality certificate (3.1).
